The Tea of Teaching and Finding the Right Brew for Your Soul

Gayatri is unique as she combines 30 years of training and teaching since 2012 into everything she does.

Not every tea is for every tongue. Know your taste. Honour your timing. Not every teacher is for every student and that’s not rejection. That’s alignment.

Some teachers are peppermint: fresh, soothing, sweet. They help you relax and breathe.
Some are chai: spicy, complex, warming with shadow and spice.
Some are nettle: gritty, detoxing, not easy to swallow, but deeply nourishing once digested.
And some? Some are Fire Tulsi with ginger and rose. The sacred initiators. The mirror-holders. The ones who won't let you lie to yourself and will love you more because of it.
Here’s the truth
If you're stuck in victim consciousness, you’ll crave the peppermint teacher because they won’t challenge your identity. That’s okay for a while.
But healing isn’t just about comfort. It’s about change. And change asks something of you.
When you're ready to stop playing victim, you don’t need a flatterer; you need a sacred disruptor. A teacher who sees your power and refuses to let you forget it.
If you want to stay stuck, this path won’t suit you.
You’ll find it “too harsh,” “too much,” “too fast.” But it’s not harsh, it’s real. It’s clean. It’s kind in the long run.
So ask yourself:
Do I want to be comforted?
Or do I want to evolve?
There’s no shame in needing gentleness, but know what you’re asking for. And if you keep calling in the fire and blaming it for burning you, maybe it’s time to stop standing in the flame while refusing to cook.
How to know you're ready for a fire teacher
You take responsibility for your part.
You welcome laughter in the mess.
You’re willing to be wrong and grateful when shown the truth.
You’re done with sugar-coating. You want transformation.
Bottom line
The teacher isn’t “too much.” You’re either not ready, or you’re finally ready and scared.
Both are okay. Just be honest about which one it is.
And when you are ready, know this: the fire teacher doesn’t need thanks. But they deserve respect.
They won’t walk your path for you. But they’ll walk with you if you truly show up.
So what’s your tea today? Be honest. Drink wisely.
“May you find your teacher.
May you become your own.
May the brew you choose today serve your becoming tomorrow.”
Is Gayatri Lindsey Robertson your cup of tea?
I am not here to coddle.
I am not here to stroke your ego.
I am not the soft-spoken whisper who tells you what you want to hear.
I am the Fire Tulsi brew.
Bold, purifying, heart-opening.
If you drink from this cup, you will meet yourself.
I am for those who are tired of pretending.
For those ready to drop the drama, face the shadow, and actually do the work.
I am for those who know healing isn’t always gentle, but it is always sacred.
I will hold you fiercely.
I will challenge your illusions.
I will honour your truth even when it trembles.
And through it all, we will laugh.
Laughter that bubbles from the mess.
Sacred humour that finds its way through the dark, the stuck, and the crumbly.
Because transformation is holy, but it’s also ridiculous.
If you're here to transform, welcome.
If you're here to be comforted while staying stuck, this is not your tea.
Read that again.
If you feel nervous and intrigued, good. That’s the path.
If you feel attacked, this may not be your time.
This is not about popularity. It’s about precision.
“This is where fierce meets funny. Where you cry, laugh, purge, and rise often in the same hour.”
You’ll know if I’m your person.
And if I am, I’ll walk beside you all the way with laughter, fire, and unwavering love.
“Come if you’re ready.
Leave if you’re not.
No harm, no chase, no apology.
I am Fire Tulsi.
I work with those who burn to become.”
